Influencer Nas Daily’s new Emirates Tower office designed by Kart Group is bold and beautiful!
Well-known influencer Nuseir Yassin, the face of Nas Daily has opened his office in the Emirates Towers designed by Kart Group.
Yassin is an extraordinary Israeli-Palestinian Harvard graduate influencer who has already spent much of his young life travelling. Yassin runs a storytelling company that communicates the disparity between people, cultures, and religions. His journey started when he pledged to make a minute-long video for 1000 days. Nas means people in Arabic. Nas Daily creates videos about remarkable people from all over the world. Yassin is one of the most influential creators on Facebook, which is just shy of 20 million followers.
Project brief
Yassin and the team at NasDaily asked for a contemporary office design with a touch of colour that reflects the client’s corporate identity and youthful playfulness in the design features.
Concept
The overall concept of the 1100sqft office design is to reflect the personality of the founder; bold and brave. The dominating colour in the office space is pure white, and the rest of the colours are of muted neutral tones and a strong accent of yellow. Nas Daily is a young team, and they need inspirational office space that promotes a social and interactive atmosphere.
Various design elements
The office façade and the internal reception counter is a bold statement and catches everyone’s attention that passes Nas Daily on Emirates Towers Boulevard. The addition of the stark black framing enhances the depth of the office space, increases saturation and accentuates the confident yellow highlights. The office space is conveniently located on one floor and divided by glass panels into four unique areas.
About the ambience
The dynamic atmosphere of the office is boosted with the well-designed casual setting. The strong design lines and powerful pops of colour create compelling energy and movement throughout the office space, reception, and meeting room.
Unique features
Behind the welcome reception desk lies a portal comprising two booths on either side which are made private by floor-to-ceiling black panelling. The panels create an impressive doorway that also encourages movement into the offices behind.
Kart used high-quality concrete porcelain and acrylic panelling to create office space, and coloured stickers gave zingy accents. All of the furniture is in the preferred contemporary design in warm neutral colours that are accented with bold colours in the cushion collection.

In Pictures: Ministry of Cabinet Affairs Office in Dubai by Kart Group
Level 37, Emirates Towers is home to the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs Office in Dubai. The twin towers impressively take command of the city’s central business and commercial district and soar 350m above the gloriously landscaped gardens, lakes and waterfalls. Since construction, the towers have become the icons in the impressive cityscape. The building’s architecture boasts equilateral triangles throughout, the points of which represent the sun, earth and moon, which are prevalent in Islamic design.
The UAE government commissioned Kart Group to redesign the upscale offices of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs. The complex brief included considering the positive energies associated with Feng Shui and incorporating biophilic design to promote the employees’ health, well-being, and productivity. Kart Group was also challenged to visually showcase the elaborate architectural revolution while respecting ancient cultural heritage. Dubai is a world leader in the hospitality sector and has changed the face of the industry globally.
The office is responsible for supporting the government offices and the UAE’s constitution. Under Mustafa Khamash his creative direction Kart Group created a unique working environment that reflected this importance. Designers have playfully melded industrial styled metal grids, exposed industrial lighting and ceiling fixtures, concrete building structures and weathered wood with luxurious marble and multi-coloured accents within the workspace.
A naturally preserved tree represents the continuum of past and future connections by grounding its roots as an anchor for the country’s boundless development and growth. The clear, mirrored ‘pool’ in which it stands creates an infinite reflection. Biophilic nuances continue throughout the offices with a carefully curated collection of exotic plants, colourful modular wall plant pots and organic strawberry shoots that increase energy flow.
Dubai’s patriarchy figures and emblematic symbols proudly adorn the walls of the 37th floor. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s profile is a creative abstract portrait installation of gradient taupe colours designed to be visible from various angles.
The executive wing and majlis lounges are designed with luxury in mind. Opulent marble is combined with polished natural wood. The colour scheme notes the United Arab Emirates’ natural hues and nods to the cultural heritage that is so closely revered. In contrast, the staff areas are bursting with eccentric accent colours that inspire creativity. There are areas to relax and breakout rooms that are dedicated to enthusiastic brainstorming.

Kart group unveils an interactive art installation at Dubai Design Week 2020
Kart Group is unveiling an art installation at Dubai Design Week 2020— ‘The Leader’; which celebrates HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s journey of leadership and supports future designers. Dubai Design Week will take place from 9-14 November 2020.
The experimental and interactive three-dimensional art installation showcases a giant silhouette of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai. ‘The Leader’ is a commemorative admiration of HH Sheikh Mohammed and his inspired leadership of the eclectic population of the United Arab Emirates. The sculpture virtually guides onlookers through his journey of accomplishment, diversity and ordeals. ‘The Leader’ progresses into an optimistic future through an ‘ewan’ style space. HH Sheikh Mohammed has a down-to-earth relationship with the people of Dubai.
The vibrant culture of the city attracts residents and visitors from around the world, and this sculpture pays homage to a remarkable man. The inspired Kart team brainstormed the various factors and pressures of being a leader.
The concept was to create a complex and multi-layered inverted sculpture that possesses a powerful visual impact whilst remaining minimalistic. The space inside the cube provides a sphere in which a white cementitious paint finish ornaments layered cut out Styrofoam. The textured veneer gives weight to the otherwise light-weight and voluminous sculpture. Concise internal layering creates an aureole around the silhouette of His Highness, representing his revered leadership glory.
The artwork installations will be positioned across the city, which will enrich an already creative vibrancy and raise the community’s connection with art. The sculpture will convey a message, through art, of hope and prosperity despite the effects of the global pandemic. The distinctive three-finger salute expresses his approach to the country -winning, victory and love, which symbolises his work ethic, success, and the love of the nation.
