Salone del Mobile 2024: What's New

The appointment with the Salone del Mobile 2024 is coming closer. From 16 to 21 April, the most important Italian and international companies in the design industry, professionals, journalists and design buffs will meet in the spaces of Fiera Milano Rho.

The April edition is full of novelties, starting from the new communication campaign by Publicis Groupe and the new exhibition itineraries that follow the human-at-the-center philosophy, thanks to the contribution of the neurosciences and the renewed partnership with Lombardini22, to offer the maximum visibility and accessibility to all exhibitors. This year, the biennial EuroCucina with FTK, Technology For the Kitchen and the International Bathroom Exhibition are back. The centerpieces will be three large installations, exhibitions, talks and tasting experiences related to the worlds of food & design.

“Interiors by David Lynch. A Thinking Room” (pavilions 5-7) is the site-specific installation that filmmaker and artist David Lynch has designed for Salone 2024, while “Under the Surface” is the title of the installation designed and created by Emiliano Ponzi, Accurat and Design Group Italia for the International Bathroom Exhibition.

In addition, EuroCucina will host six independent international food magazines with a special project entitled “All You Have Ever Wanted to Know About Food Design in Six Performances”. The program of Talks and Round Tables, entitled “Drafting Futures. Conversations about Next Perspectives”, is curated by Annalisa Rosso and will be held in the “Drafting Futures” Arena (pavilion 14) designed by Formafantasma.

And there’s still more: a special event for the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the SaloneSatellite. For the occasion, there will be a special edition at the fair, hosted in pavilions 5 and 7, and a major exhibition in the city at La Triennale Milano, from 16 to 28 April, with the exhibition project curated by Beppe Finessi and designed by Ricardo Bello Dias.
